Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MarginOS, operated by Blake Emsick (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a sole proprietor based in Omaha, Nebraska. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By signing up or using MarginOS, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your business, and agree to our Privacy Policy.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Pilot program

During the pilot program (April 2026 onwards), MarginOS is provided free of charge for 90 days. There is no contract and you may cancel at any time. Data you upload belongs to you; you can export it or request deletion via email at any time.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of all invoices, quotes, and operational data you upload. We process that data to provide the service and to compute anonymized regional benchmarks (starting at 10 operators per metro). We do not sell your data. We do not share identifiable data with distributors, vendors, or any third party without your explicit written permission.

5. Disputes

MarginOS detects price drift between vendor quotes and invoices. When your distributor's policies permit a dispute, we will attempt to file it on your behalf via their stated channels. When they don't permit a dispute, we preserve the documentation for your use in future negotiations. We do not guarantee recovery of funds.

6. Limits

MarginOS is provided “as is.” We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access or that every invoice line will be perfectly matched. OCR results should be reviewed before taking legal or financial action on them.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time by emailing blake@margin.work. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe to be engaged in fraud or abuse.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders at least 14 days before taking effect.
